Sleep Dentistry Specialist
Silvia Lobo Lobo, D.M.D., M.S. combines her training in pediatric dentistry, dental sleep medicine and orofacial pain to treat sleep disordered breathing in adults and children with oral devices.
She completed her pediatric dental residency at NYU Langone Dental Medicine (formerly Lutheran Medical Center). Prior to her training in pediatric dentistry, she obtained her DMD, a certificate in temporomandibular disorders and orofacial pain, and a Master’s degree at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She has 20 years of experience in the treatment and management of temporomandibular disorders and orofacial pain.
Dr. Lobo Lobo is a clinical associate at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She has published several scientific articles and was a contributor for a comprehensive textbook of head, face and neck pain. She has been a guest speaker at universities, as well as national and international meetings.
She values a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach as she develops treatment plans for her patients. Dr. Lobo Lobo is committed to personalized care with effective treatments that can positively impact quality of life.
Dr. Lobo Lobo is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, she is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, and a Diplomate of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. She is also the host of the Dental Chat, a podcast dedicated to oral health.
