Guilherme Valverde, DDS, DMD Prosthodontist
Dr. Guilherme Bönecker Valverde is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He received his DDS degree from the State University of São Paulo UNESP Araraquara School of Dentistry in Brazil. He completed his Master’s degree in Oral Rehabilitation at the same University and became Assistant Professor in Prosthodontics at the University of Fortaleza School of Dentistry, where he spent eight years teaching and working in his private practice focusing mainly on complex prosthetic reconstructions.
Dr. Valverde earned his Ph.D in Clinical Prosthodontics—Material Sciences at the State University of Campinas, UNICAMP. For his research training, within a Brazil/USA Ph.D combined program, he developed his theses in the field of ceramics at the Biomaterials and Biomimetic Department at New York University School of Dentistry. Afterward, he continued at NYU in a Post-Doctoral position developing research in the field of implant, ceramics, and biomaterials. Dr. Valverde has also completed his D.M.D. degree at Tufts School of Dental Medicine, and his clinical expertise includes Prosthodontics, Esthetics, Reconstructive, and Implant Dentistry.
